The new Hyundai Kona N is equipped with a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine from the i30 N hot hatch. The four-cylinder produces 280 hp and has a torque of 390 Nm, and briefly in Overboost mode, 290 hp is available. A new active exhaust has also appeared.

The engine is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. Launch control technology allows acceleration to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds, and the top speed is 240 km/h. This is the fastest Hyundai crossover in history.

Surprisingly, the top Hyundai Kona did not get all-wheel drive – they only managed with an electronic self-locking differential on the front axle. The suspension and steering have also been recalibrated, and larger brakes have been installed.

You can recognize the hot crossover Hyundai Kona by its body kit, roof spoiler, and forged 19-inch wheels. The interior features sport seats, and Alcantara is used in the upholstery. The virtual instrument cluster graphics have also been changed, and a new lap timer function has appeared in the multimedia menu.
