Talagon is Volkswagen's largest crossover: its length is 5153 mm, width – 2002 mm, height – 1795 mm, and wheelbase – 2980 mm. It is built on the basis of the Volkswagen Atlas.

In terms of design, the car almost completely replicates the pre-production concept car Volkswagen SMV. It has smooth body contours and a wide radiator grille, and the roofline is accentuated by a chrome molding.

The interior of the Volkswagen Talagon is styled in the spirit of the Golf hatchback – with a virtual instrument cluster, a miniature gear selector, and a touchscreen turned towards the driver.

The seven-seat Volkswagen crossover will be equipped with 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engines producing 186 and 220 hp, and a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch robot. Versions with front and all-wheel drive will be offered.
By the way, the largest Volkswagen electric crossover was also presented there in Shanghai. It is also seven-seat and will also be produced at the SAIC-VW plant.
