The artist was prompted to create this project by the fact that in many markets the Duster has established itself as one of the cheapest and most affordable crossovers. Currently, the Franco-Romanian bestseller (produced under both the Renault and Dacia brands) is already sold in its second generation, and it undoubtedly has several more years of life ahead. However, Alexandru-Călin went further and tried to imagine what the Duster might look like in decades, if it remains in service for a long time.

The Duster 2021-2031 appeals not only with futuristic shapes but also with unusual proportions. The design combines a long hood and a long front overhang with a relatively short main body section and a rounded rear. However, the artist claims that when designing, he worked with proportions that are characteristic of the Duster. The concept's length is 4.33 m, height – 1.69 m.

Alexandru-Călin also added a number of interesting features, such as wheel lighting, cameras instead of mirrors, and a fifth door handle in the form of a large protrusion.

Whether Renault Group will adopt this project is hard to say. Perhaps it will remain on paper, although it is not excluded that it will continue further development at an official level.
