However, unlike its predecessors, the new SEAT electric car will be a compact crossover about 4 meters long. Its first teaser has also been presented – the car's silhouette is in the spirit of SEAT Arona.
It is known that the SEAT electric crossover will be relatively inexpensive – from 20 to 25 thousand euros. It will be built on a simplified MEB Lite platform.

To make the crossover cheaper, it will be equipped with less durable lithium iron phosphate batteries, whereas, for example, the Volkswagen ID.3 has a lithium nickel manganese cobalt oxide battery. However, this solution also has an advantage – such batteries are safer and much less prone to catching fire.
Most likely, production of the electric crossover will be set up at the updated plant in Martorell, Spain. Its production capacity allows assembling 500 thousand electric cars annually.
