Dacia Spring is currently the cheapest electric car in Europe. The price for this electric car starts at just under 17,000 euros, but thanks to various subsidies and benefits in many EU countries, the car can be significantly cheaper. In the case of Romania, the price is reduced by more than half, where you can buy Dacia Spring for a sensational 7,700 euros! Obviously, this is what drives such demand.

In addition to Romania, interest in Dacia Spring is huge in other European countries: in just 2 days, Dacia received over 10,000 orders for the budget electric car. Applications came, in particular, from France, Spain, and Italy.

Let us remind you that Dacia Spring is a version of the Renault City K-ZE adapted for Europe – a subcompact electric crossover that has been sold in China since 2019 for less than 10,000 dollars. The car has rather modest characteristics: the motor develops only 45 hp, the maximum speed is 125 km/h, and the battery capacity of 27.4 kWh is enough to travel 230 km without recharging on the WLTP cycle. However, for the city, such "specs" are more than enough.
