Yes, in the second half of this year, Volkswagen Nivus will go on sale on the European market (from the third or fourth quarter). Based on this, it should not be ruled out that the new coupe-crossover may also appear in Ukraine. In our country, the Volkswagen crossover lineup is represented quite well: there are the well-known Touareg and Tiguan models, and in 2019, the T-Roc joined them. In addition, such a possibility is not ruled out by Autocar magazine; according to British colleagues, the Nivus will most likely be aimed specifically at the developing markets of Eastern Europe.

The VW Nivus is based on the MQB A0 platform, the car's length is 4266 mm, the wheelbase is 2566 mm, and the trunk volume is 415 liters. In terms of design, the model echoes the same T-Roc.

The crossover's equipment includes full LED lighting, an automatic braking system, 6 airbags, adaptive cruise control, a digital instrument cluster, a multimedia system, a start-stop system, and an electric tailgate drive.

It is expected that in Europe the Nivus will be available with 1.0 and 1.5 TSI petrol engines, but diesel and hybrid versions will most likely not be offered.
For the needs of the South American market, the car is produced at the Anchieta plant in Brazil, and for Europe it will be assembled at the VW plant in Spain.
