Volkswagen ID.6 Crozz will become a kind of electric "replacement" for the Touareg, with approximately the same dimensions as the latter. The length of the new model is 4891 mm, width - 1848 mm, height - 1679 mm, and wheelbase - 2965 mm. For comparison, the dimensions of the Touareg are as follows: 4878 x 1984 x 1707 mm.
The interior of the Volkswagen ID.6 will be available in both 5- and 7-seat configurations, with three rows of seats. As for the design, it echoes other "ID" models - the ID.3 hatchback and the smaller ID.4 crossover.
The Volkswagen ID.6 Crozz is based on the Volkswagen MEB platform, created specifically for electric vehicles. So far, two versions have been announced for the car - with one motor producing 204 hp (rear-wheel drive) and two motors with a total output of 306 hp (4x4). Battery data will appear later, but it is known that the younger version is equipped with a 70 kilowatt-hour battery.
By the way, the ID.6 Crozz is an extended (+15 mm) version of the regular ID.6 (pictured below), which will also be shown in April.
Initially, the Volkswagen ID.6 will appear on the Chinese market, but then its appearance is expected in Europe and North America.
