Of course, now Cupra has been separated into a separate brand, but the Formentor is based on the SEAT Ateca. The VZ5 version is equipped with a 2.5-liter five-cylinder turbo engine, familiar from the Audi RS3 and RS Q3. It develops 390 hp and has a torque of 480 N∙m.

The characteristics of the Cupra Formentor VZ5 are very good – its dynamics are better than those of the Porsche Macan Turbo. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 4.2 seconds, and the top speed is limited to 250 km/h.

The Cupra Formentor VZ5 is available exclusively with all-wheel drive. Naturally, the suspension with adaptive dampers and steering have been refined, and new Akebono brakes with six-piston calipers have been installed.

You can distinguish the VZ5 from the standard Cupra Formentor by the enlarged front air intakes, body kit, and special 20-inch wheels. The ground clearance is reduced by 10 mm, and original exhaust pipes have appeared at the rear.
