The Electric Microlino became known back in 2018. Then, at the Geneva Motor Show 2019, the prototype of this electric car debuted. The model immediately won the attention of the public – thanks to its retro design, almost completely repeating the legendary BMW Isetta of the 1950s-1960s, and modern electric filling.

On the way to the assembly line, the car underwent a number of changes: it received a retouched appearance (especially in the rear part), a wider wheelbase, increased ceiling height (the last two points had a positive effect on capacity), modernized safety, improved visibility, and a finished production-ready interior with a new steering wheel and digital screen. The updated version was named Microlino 2.0.

But in terms of technology, the car weighing half a ton remained the same: the developers promise a range of 125 and 190 km (two battery versions), as well as a maximum speed of 90 km/h.

The main trump card of the Electric Microlino should be a democratic price. For the car in the basic configuration, the manufacturer will ask for just under 12,000 euros.
