It is not hard to guess that the new Opel Insignia C will be made in the modern style of the brand, which debuted on the Mokka crossover. Its main feature is the black Opel Vizor panel between the headlights. The profile will become more dynamic thanks to a more sloping roof.

The newly created Stellantis concern plans to take the Insignia to a new level. It will be built on the EMP2 platform, which is also used by the Peugeot 508 and DS9. The interior will feature improved trim and large displays.

Most likely, the new Opel Insignia will get 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol engines and turbodiesels with a displacement of 1.5 and 2.0 liters. A plug-in hybrid with a 1.5-liter petrol engine and an electric motor is also expected.

All versions of the Opel Insignia 2023 will get an 8-speed automatic transmission. Front- and all-wheel-drive variants are expected.
