The new Volkswagen T7 should be unveiled before the end of this year and it will change radically. First, the van will be built on the MQB platform. Second, the design will be transformed: judging by the photos, it is made in the spirit of the Volkswagen Golf 8. The appearance has become more elegant and modern.

It is from the Golf that a number of interior details will be borrowed. In particular, the images show a virtual instrument cluster, like the hatchback's, and a large touchscreen. In addition, the trim materials will be improved and more black lacquered plastic will be added.

The specifications of the Volkswagen Multivan T7 are still kept secret, but most likely it will be offered with familiar 1.5-liter petrol turbo engines and 2.0-liter turbodiesels from other VWs. A hybrid modification is also expected for the first time.

As before, the Volkswagen Multivan will be available with a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 7-speed DSG robot. You can also choose an all-wheel-drive version.
