And the name of the crossover is somewhat different – Kia Sportage Ace. The car reaches 4530 mm in length, 1850 mm in width and 1670 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2640 mm.
The crossover has an expressive design with a huge radiator grille and slanting LED headlights. The rear part with thin lights is made in the spirit of the older Kia Sorento. By the way, the Sportage Ace already sports the updated logo of Kia.
The interior of the Kia Sportage 2021 for China has not yet been declassified, but it is already known that the car will receive a 10.25-inch virtual instrument cluster and a new 8.0-inch touchscreen. Also, for the crossover, the Drive Wise safety complex will be offered – adaptive cruise control, automatic braking systems, lane keeping and blind spot monitoring.
At first, the new Kia Sportage will be equipped with a 2.0-liter 160-horsepower gasoline engine. A 6-speed manual and automatic transmission will be offered. Later, a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 200 hp will also be added, working in tandem with a 7-speed robot with two clutches.
