The hatchback lineup now starts with the SE Connect trim, on sale from $26,300. It includes 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights with LED daytime running lights, electrically folding rearview mirrors, and an infotainment system with an 8.0-inch touchscreen and support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A rearview camera, rear parking sensors, and front and rear electric windows are also standard equipment.
SE Connect cars can be ordered with a 48-volt 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 118 hp and paired exclusively with a 6-speed manual gearbox, or with a 1.6-liter diesel engine with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic transmission.
The i30 Premium models start at $30,000, and petrol cars get the option of an automatic transmission. Equipment includes 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and taillights, an upgraded infotainment system with a 10.25-inch touchscreen and a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, as well as heated front seats, front parking sensors, and wireless smartphone charging.
The top-of-the-line i30 N Line models get a sporty body kit, 18-inch alloy wheels, N Line interior upholstery, and a bespoke steering wheel and gear shift lever. The trim will be offered with a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 156 hp and can be equipped with a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Prices start from $31,300.
The updated i30 features a wider radiator grille with a new 3D pattern, slimmer headlights, and new bumpers for both the five-door hatchback and the fastback. The sporty N Line variant is also more distinctive, with a redesigned radiator grille among a range of changes.
Fresh colors are also characteristic, and new technologies have appeared in the interior, such as various Hyundai vehicle functions connected together. The new safety package includes lane keeping assist, rear collision avoidance assist, and rear occupant alert. Deliveries to customers are expected before the end of the year. The i30 N hatchback will receive its own set of updates.
