The design of the updated Stonic has hardly changed; only slightly modernized optics, an expanded range of wheel rims, and exterior color options can be noted.
In the cabin, an enlarged 8-inch media center screen is noticeable, as well as new interior trim options.
The technical changes are more extensive. The Stonic has acquired a mild-hybrid version with 120 hp, as well as a special gearbox – iMT with an electronic clutch pedal. This transmission lacks a mechanical connection between the pedal and the clutch, while gears are still shifted manually. As an alternative, a 7-speed "robot" is offered.
