The 8DCT transmission with two "wet" clutches will work in conjunction with Smartstream family engines. Such a 275-horsepower Veloster N accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds, which is 0.5 seconds faster than the version with a manual transmission.
The model's options list has been expanded with lightweight N Light Sports Bucket Seats with integrated headrests and illuminated logo.
