The Korean online publication Top-Rider reports that the 420-horsepower sports sedan will get the same eight-speed automatic transmission that is installed on standard versions of the model. In addition, it is expected that the "hot" version will feature a more expressive aerodynamic body kit, a different exhaust system, and a sporty-styled interior.

According to forecasts, in the domestic market the Genesis G80 will be available with both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, while in export markets the car will appear exclusively in the all-wheel drive version. There is no doubt that the "charged" sedan will become a global model: the sports modification of the previous generation car was sold worldwide.

Although the Genesis G80 premiere took place in a shortened format, public interest was high: on the day of the show, the new model received 22 thousand pre-orders. Exact dates for the debut of the "charged" version have not yet been announced, but it is possible that the model's premiere will take place this year.
