Initially, Fiat planned to present the new product at the Geneva Motor Show, but the event was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. In addition, the spread of the virus forced Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) to stop production of the 500L compact vans at the plant in Kragujevac, Serbia. The reason was a shortage of components from China, whose deliveries are delayed due to the epidemic.
