The Aston Martin Vantage Roadster, which for the first time in the model's history has dropped the Volante suffix, features a unique soft-top drive mechanism based on a Z-shaped design. The weight of this mechanism does not exceed 60 kilograms. Fully automatic folding of the roof takes just 7 seconds — as the company emphasized, this is the best figure among all production cars with a fabric roof.

Under the hood of the roadster is a four-liter twin-turbocharged engine producing 510 horsepower and 685 N·m of torque. The power unit works in conjunction with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. Acceleration to 100 km/h for the open version takes 3.8 seconds — 0.2 seconds more than the lighter coupe. The top speed is limited to 306 kilometers per hour.
The car is equipped with an electronic rear differential, adaptive suspension, and traction control system. The driver has access to three modes of electronic systems: Sport, Sport +, and Track.

Sales of the Aston Martin Vantage Roadster in Europe will start this summer. On the British market, the price of the new model will start from 126,950 pounds sterling.
