In the photos published online, the hypercar is still covered with a tarp. However, the cutouts for the headlights and the horseshoe-shaped radiator grille characteristic of the Chiron are still not hidden by it. The main difference from the regular coupe is the tall fixed rear wing instead of the active spoiler. Probably, the Chiron R should generate more downforce, which means the focus of the settings is shifted from achieving maximum speed towards handling.
There is also no data on the engine. The coupe will definitely be equipped with an 8.0-liter W16 with four turbochargers, but the engine output may vary from 1500 horsepower, as on the Chiron Sport, to 1600 horsepower, as on the Chiron Super Sport 300+ and Centodieci. From a standstill to 100 km/h, the regular coupe accelerates in 2.4 seconds and can reach 420 kilometers per hour. In the long-tailed Chiron Super Sport 300+, the limiter is moved to 490 kilometers per hour. The dynamic performance of the new model is unlikely to differ.
