The published images show that the updated Hyundai Solaris will resemble the "related" Verna model presented on the Chinese market in autumn 2019. However, the Russian version of the sedan will get different solutions: the radiator grille will have a different pattern, and the front bumper and headlights will also change. LED lighting will appear in the list of options.

Unlike the Chinese counterpart, the Solaris will not get a fully digital instrument panel, but the multimedia system will be represented by the same large touchscreen placed in a separate unit. The new model is expected to feature rear-row air vents, power-adjustable mirrors, navigation from Yandex, additional USB ports, and wireless smartphone charging. In top trim levels, the interior will be upholstered in leather.

There is no information yet about the technical content of the updated Hyundai. The current version of the car is available with a 1.4-liter engine producing 100 horsepower and a 1.6-liter unit with 123 horsepower. Transmissions are six-speed manual or automatic.

The official presentation of the restyled Hyundai Solaris is scheduled for February 18 and will take place at an event in St. Petersburg.
