The Belgian Legend Edition is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Belgian racing driver Jacky Ickx and his invaluable contribution to Porsche's sporting successes in the 1970s and 1980s.
The order for the special edition of the 911 came from the Belgian Porsche importer, D’Ieteren. Together with the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur and Style Porsche departments, its employees decided to base the sports car's styling on Ickx's signature white-and-blue helmet, and to build the special version on the basis of the 911 Carrera 4S.
The coupe was painted in a unique shade of X Blue, and this is the first 992 to have its color selected via the Paint To Sample program, which can even recreate historical colors.
Among other features of the Belgian Legend Edition are a badge with the Belgian flag and Jacky Ickx's autograph on the B-pillar, 20/21-inch Carrera Classic wheels in a unique finish with laser engraving, a black leather interior with X-shaped Pebble Grey stitching on the dashboard, doors, and seats, a Belgian Legend Edition emblem on the door sills, and Ickx's signature on the armrest.
Unique equipment for the Carrera 4S includes sports seats with Pebble Grey piping, 18-way electric adjustment, the number "911" on the headrests, and leather-covered backrests.
The Porsche 911 Belgian Legend Edition will be produced in a limited run of 75 units. The sports car will only be available for purchase in Belgium.
