After the restyling, the front of the coupe has completely changed. The car will receive a completely new radiator grille, each cell of which is finished in glossy black on the front side and matte black on the inside, narrow LED headlights in the style of the XE and XJ sedans, different bumpers, enlarged air intakes, and a modified hood. The two-seater sports car also features flush door handles, thin rear taillights, and a new exhaust system.

Inside the updated F-Type, there is a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The driver also gets a new Touch Pro infotainment system with a 10-inch touchscreen, as well as support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The SOTA software allows over-the-air updates for the car without needing to visit a dealership.
The interior features leather, fabric, and aluminum trim. The sports seats are equipped with heating and cooling functions. The seat belts and the glove box release button feature the Jaguar Est. 1935 marking, which is a reference to the year the word Jaguar was first used as a car name.

The sports car is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder Ingenium gasoline engine. The unit produces 300 horsepower. Additionally, customers are offered a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 engine. This engine produces 380 hp and 460 Nm of torque.
Customers will also be offered a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine. The unit produces 450 hp and 580 Nm. This engine features a new Quiet Start function, which provides a quieter sound when starting the engine.

All engines work with an eight-speed Quickshift transmission. The new model is available with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The car is equipped with adaptive dampers, new springs, and anti-roll bars.
Jaguar plans to develop a new sports car that will replace the F-Type in the brand's lineup. The car will be called the J-Type and will go on sale in 2022. There is no official confirmation of this information yet. The mid-engine supercar will feature a hybrid powertrain. It will include a gasoline engine and two electric motors. The total output is expected to be over 550 hp. Thus, the new model could compete with the Porsche Taycan in the future.
