The updated Nissan Almera is no longer offered with the 1.2-liter engine that produced 79 horsepower and 102 N·m. Instead, under the hood now sits a 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine with 100 hp and 152 N·m of torque. This engine is exclusively paired with a CVT. Possibly, the lineup will later be joined by a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine.
