Details about the new product, the premiere of which will take place only on November 17, were revealed on the MachE Forum website.
As for the exterior, the crossover received front and rear optics in the style of the original Mustang, a coupe-like silhouette, and a closed grille. The name Mach-E is a reference to the most powerful modifications of the first-generation Mustang sports car.
At the start of sales, the electric car will be offered in a special First Edition version at a price of $59.9 thousand (about 3.8 million rubles), and a little later the top GT version will appear. The older modifications of the crossover, which will receive all-wheel drive, will be able to accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in about 3.5 seconds. More affordable versions will only have a rear drive axle, and acceleration to 100 km/h will take about five seconds.
The declared power of the model's units varies from 260 to 370 horsepower. Depending on the modification, the Ford Mustang Mach E will be able to travel from 340 to 480 kilometers without recharging the batteries.
The public premiere of the Ford Mustang Mach-E electric crossover will take place at the Los Angeles Motor Show. Sales of the cars are scheduled for the second half of next year.
