The mass of the Audi R8 RWD coupe is 1595 kg, which is 65 kg lighter than the all-wheel-drive supercar. As for the convertible, its weight has decreased by 55 kg, to 1695 kilograms. The cars are equipped with a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine developing 540 hp and 540 Nm of torque, which is 30 hp and 20 Nm less than the standard quattro modifications.

The engine works in conjunction with a seven-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches and a mechanically locking differential. The coupe accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, and its top speed is 320 km/h. The Spyder accelerates from standstill to 100 km/h 0.1 seconds slower, and its top speed is 318 km/h.

In Germany, prices for the Audi R8 RWD start from 144 thousand euros, while the Audi R8 RWD will cost at least 157 thousand euros. In both cases, this is 22 thousand euros cheaper than the all-wheel-drive supercars.
The production run of the new model will not be limited, as was the case with the rear-wheel-drive version of the pre-restyling supercar. Let us remind you that the batch of such cars was limited to 999 units.
