All other technical specifications are still kept under wraps. The company only promised that two electric motors provide "very fast, but unusually smooth acceleration." The standard version of the Leaf e+ is equipped with an electric motor developing 217 hp and 340 Nm of torque. The declared maximum range of the electric car is 385 kilometers. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 6.9 seconds.
The new product is a test mule in the Leaf e+ body. The car will not receive a production version. However, a number of technologies demonstrated on the vehicle will be adopted in future production versions of the Japanese brand's electric cars.
