Gazoo Racing body kit is easily recognizable by the rectangular air intake in the front bumper, fog lights located at the bottom, branded silver calipers, and low-profile wheels sized 225/45 R19. Inside, the sporty character is reminded by pedal covers, a leather-wrapped branded GR steering wheel, and silver stitching on the profiled seats.
Technically, the C-HR GR Sport features a stiffer suspension with recalibrated springs and shock absorbers, an underfloor reinforcement, new anti-roll bars, and a recalibrated power steering.
The powertrains were not touched by the tuning: for Japan, the C-HR GR Sport is offered with the same 116-horsepower 1.2-liter turbo engine paired with a 6-speed manual or with an electrified setup with an effective output of 122 horsepower, consisting of a 1.8-liter naturally aspirated engine, a 72-horsepower electric motor, and a CVT. Drive is to the front wheels.
