A new world speed record of 490.484 kilometers per hour was set, as Bugatti clarified, on a "hypercar close to production." Now it has officially become one: brand head Stefan Winkelmann announced that the car, which surpassed the 300 miles per hour (490 kilometers per hour) speed threshold, has become production-ready and, if desired, can be purchased for 3.5 million euros. True, the production run of the "record" car will be limited to just 30 units, one of which was sold directly at the hypercar presentation in Molsheim.

The Super Sport 300+ will receive an eight-liter W16 engine with 1600 horsepower, magnesium alloy wheels, an extended rear body section, and a modernized front bumper.

Presumably, by default the hypercar will be equipped with a safety cage and a single seat, but at the owner's request, the interior can be returned to the state of a production car. Several body color schemes will also be available to choose from.
