A special substance called Vantablack, which is the blackest known substance in the world, was applied to the car's body.

Vantablack is a special substance consisting of carbon nanotubes that absorbs up to 99.965% of all visible light, microwaves, and radio waves. The substance, developed by the UK's National Physical Laboratory (NPL) and Surrey NanoSystems, was first presented at the Farnborough Airshow in the summer of 2014.
Due to the almost complete absence of reflected light, the human eye perceives an object painted in Vantablack not as something material, but as a gap into a bottomless void. The BMW X6 crossover shown in the photos looks as if it is completely devoid of body contours.
