The car will use the modular FAAR platform. After this, its interior space will increase and its weight will decrease. Inside, the new model will feature a digital instrument panel. Customers will also be offered the M135i version with aggressive bumpers and a special radiator grille in the style of the Z4 roadster.
The car will get a two-liter turbocharged gasoline engine. The power of the unit will be 302 horsepower. This is the most powerful four-cylinder engine in the BMW lineup. The unit will work in conjunction with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
