Under the hood of the Opel Grandland X Hybrid4 is a 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol engine with 200 hp, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. On the rear axle there is a 110-horsepower electric motor, which is engaged when necessary, providing all-wheel drive.
The set of lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 13.2 kWh allows driving exclusively on electric power for up to 50 kilometers. The automaker notes that recharging the batteries using the Wallbox wall-mounted device will take no more than two hours.
Subsequently, similar powertrains will be received by other models of the PSA group, including the Peugeot 508 and 508 SW, Peugeot 3008, as well as the Citroën C5 Aircross.
