The new filter will allow the hypercar to pass certification for harmful emissions according to the global WLTP cycle. At the same time, engineers will not have to reduce the total output of the car's power plant.

Recall that the Mercedes-AMG One will be equipped with a hybrid power plant based on a modified 1.6-liter turbocharged V6 engine, which is used in the cars of the Mercedes factory team in Formula 1.

The internal combustion engine works in tandem with an electric motor on the rear axle, together they produce a total of 680 hp. There is also one auxiliary electric motor installed in each of the front wheels. The total power of the units exceeded 1000 hp.

According to unofficial data, the Mercedes-AMG One will be able to accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in about 2.5 seconds, and acceleration to 200 km/h will take no more than six seconds. The maximum speed of the hypercar will exceed 350 km/h. A total of 275 units of the Mercedes-AMG One will be produced, each costing about 2.5 million euros. At the moment, all hypercars have already been sold.
