The Superleggera version features a black radiator grille, carbon fiber elements, a special exhaust system with four tailpipes, LED headlights, a spoiler, and 21-inch wheels shod with Pirelli P Zero tires. The soft top is offered in eight color options and raises in just 14 seconds, while it folds down in 16.

The DBS Superleggera Volante is powered by a 12-cylinder twin-turbo engine with a displacement of 5.2 liters, producing 715 hp. The engine works in conjunction with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. The sports car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds, and the model's top speed is 340 km/h. Thus, the new model has become the fastest convertible in the history of the British firm.

The Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Volante features adaptive shock absorbers and carbon-ceramic brake discs. The equipment list also includes an adaptive damping system (ADS) with Skyhook technology and three operating modes: GT, Sport, and Sport Plus.
