The electric car was equipped with a new rear wing of modified design, installed much lower than on the previous version. In addition, engineers applied the DRS racing technology from Formula 1, which allows changing the angle of attack of the wing plane, reducing aerodynamic drag. Also, the energy management system of the electric vehicle has been optimized.
Volkswagen ID. R was introduced last year. The model received two electric motors that together develop 680 hp and accelerate the electric car from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.25 seconds.
