Customers who placed a pre-order for this first Porsche electric car received a notification that work on the model's release is in its final stages. The manufacturer also confirmed in its 2018 report that the Taycan Cross Turismo crossover will be put into production in two years. The second brand family to feature an electric vehicle will be the Macan.
The Taycan will be offered with two batteries of different capacities. The total output of the electric motors in the top version will be 600 hp, and the sports car will be able to accelerate to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds.
Currently, the company has already received more than 20 thousand pre-orders for this model, and is also considering increasing the planned production.
