The off-road modification of the Ceed will be built on the K2 platform with front-wheel drive, but the exact technical specifications still remain unknown. It is expected that the new car will receive the same powertrains and gearboxes as the standard versions of the Ceed.
The Korean manufacturer has not yet disclosed the date and venue of the premiere, but there is a possibility that the show will take place in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Along with the presentation, the official name of the new model may also be announced.
