As the British press reports, the first of them will be presented at the April auto show in Shanghai. According to the head of Audi's design department, Marc Lichte, this concept will give an idea of the development of the German brand's electric cars over the next ten years.
The new model will be equipped with a fourth-level autonomous driving system, meaning the electric car can move autonomously, but the driver can take control if desired. According to Lichte, because of this, the show car will feature a completely new interior design.

“Today we talk about third-level autonomy, but this model will demonstrate the fourth level. These innovations will greatly change the car's interior. The concept will give an idea of what a vehicle's cabin might look like with or without a steering wheel,” said Lichte.
Another electric concept car will be showcased at the autumn motor show in Frankfurt, but all details about this new model are still kept under wraps.
“We have concept cars like the Q4 e-tron, which are more or less ready for production. At the same time, we are developing prototypes that are 10–15 years ahead of their time. Such concepts include, for example, the Aicon. We will show two more future prototypes in Shanghai and Frankfurt,” added the designer.
