Externally, the Honda E Prototype resembles the Urban EV concept first shown in 2017. Instead of side mirrors, the show car has cameras that transmit images to special screens in the cabin. The electric car features door handles hidden in the pillars, short overhangs, round headlights, and the charging port is placed in the hood. The traditional radiator grille has been replaced with a special display that can show messages. Whether such technology will be implemented on the production version of the model is still unknown.

The instrument panel consists of three screens. The first one, displaying all the main information, is located behind the steering wheel. The new model also features two touchscreens that occupy almost all the remaining space in front of the driver.

The range of the Honda E Prototype is 200 km. The concept is powered by a single electric motor mounted on the rear axle. Other technical specifications are still kept secret.

The production version of the electric car is expected to go into production before the end of the year.
