The line of powertrains for the updated Ranger has been expanded with two-liter diesel engines of the EcoBlue series. The initial version, working in conjunction with a six-speed manual gearbox, produces 130 horsepower and a torque of 340 Nm.

In addition, buyers have access to a modification with 170 horsepower and a torque of 420 N·m, as well as a flagship version equipped with two turbines. Its output is 213 horsepower and 500 Nm, which exceeds the characteristics of the previous 3.2-liter engine by 13 horsepower and 30 Nm. This unit is paired with a ten-speed automatic transmission. All trim levels of the pickup have an all-wheel drive system.
The standard equipment of the car includes a frontal collision warning system capable of recognizing pedestrians. For an additional fee, a parking assistant, lane keeping system, and adaptive cruise control are offered.

The appearance of the car has undergone minor changes: the front bumper has been updated, the radiator grille has been changed, and the body color palette has been expanded with two new shades.
