Spy video with the new product has appeared on the Automotive Mike YouTube channel.
The Volkswagen T-Roc R is expected to debut next year. Under the hood, there will likely be a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, familiar from the Golf R model. The output of such an engine will exceed 300 hp. In addition, the crossover will get all-wheel drive and a re-tuned chassis.
The appearance of the model, apparently, will undergo only minor changes. In the video, the car is still hidden by camouflage film, but it is already noticeable that the R version will stand out with different headlights and a sporty exhaust system.
Recall that the premiere of the standard version of the compact crossover T-Roc took place last year at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
