Judging by everything, the appearance of the new sedan will largely repeat the look of the eponymous hatchback, which debuted at the auto show in New York in March.
The new model will be based on the TNGA architecture, on which the Prius and C-HR have already been built. According to forecasts, the new Corolla will become more spacious than its predecessor. If you believe earlier spy shots, the car will get LED optics, bolder bumpers, and a redesigned radiator grille. In the interior, the appearance of a modern instrument panel is expected.
Technical details are still behind the scenes. According to unofficial data, under the hood will be a 2.0-liter gasoline engine with 170 hp. In addition, a variant with a hybrid power plant is not excluded, where a 1.8-liter gasoline engine will work in conjunction with an electric motor.
