In the future, the new model should get a production version. It is expected that production of the crossover will begin in 2020. Assembly of the new model will be set up at a plant in Brazil.
The new model is called Fiat Fastback and its design somewhat resembles the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe and BMW X4. The exterior of the crossover was worked on by the Brazilian design studio FCA Latam. Interior photos are not yet available; most likely, the model will get a digital instrument panel.
All technical characteristics of the car are still kept secret. The production version of the car will be built on the basis of the Toro pickup. This platform is also used by the Jeep Renegade and Compass. The appearance of a seven-seat modification of the crossover is also not ruled out.
