The new compact crossover Volkswagen T-Cross will be built on the MQB A0 modular platform, already familiar from the sixth-generation Polo hatchback. The trunk volume of the new model will be 455 liters, and according to the manufacturer, this is the best figure in its class. If you fold down the rear seat backs, the space grows to 1281 liters.

The equipment of the small SUV will include LED headlights, a virtual instrument panel, and wireless charging for smartphones.

Under the hood, three-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engines with a displacement of one liter will be offered, producing 95 or 110 horsepower. They will be paired with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a preselective dual-clutch "robot". Also on the engine list will be a 1.5-liter turbocharged unit with 150 horsepower and two 1.6-liter diesels with outputs of 95 and 115 hp.
