Spy photos of the new product were published by Carscoops. According to them, the car's premiere will take place at the Geneva Motor Show in March next year.

The station wagon will borrow its engine lineup from the sedan of the same name. It will include new four-cylinder two-liter turbocharged units developing 184 hp (320i version) and 258 hp (330i version). The diesel range is represented by two-liter engines with 150 hp (318d) and 190 hp (320d), as well as a 265-horsepower three-liter six-cylinder unit (330d).
The new product will receive an eight-speed automatic transmission, dynamic cruise control, Start/Stop function, driving mode selector, and parking proximity warning. An M Sport package will be available later for the car, including sport suspension and M Sport brakes. The sedan is also equipped with automatic three-zone climate control and an audio system with 6 speakers.
