Judging by the published image, the new product will feature a characteristic twin grille, which, unlike other fresh models of the Bavarian brand, will be made in a unified style with the head optics. The shape of the front headlights, in turn, will echo the design of the 8-Series coupe.
As previously mentioned, the new car's center of gravity will be 10 mm lower, and the mass distribution across the axles will be brought to the reference 50:50. At the same time, the curb weight of the BMW 3-Series will be reduced by 55 kg, but the rigidity of the body and chassis will increase by 15-20 percent.
The suspension of the new "three" will be completely redesigned — this sedan will become the first production BMW model to feature special "intelligent" shock absorbers capable of "constantly and adaptively acting depending on the spring travel."
