At the annual shareholders' meeting, the new head of Ferrari, Louis Carey Camilleri, shared the company's plans. As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the debut of the new model is scheduled for 2022.

The company avoids calling the future model a crossover, using the definition of a "five-door coupe with increased ground clearance." It is assumed that the car will be equipped with a hybrid system based on a V8 gasoline engine. The new model's rivals will be the Lamborghini Urus and the hybrid version of the Bentley Bentayga — PHEV, presented at the Geneva Motor Show.

According to unofficial data, the car will be built on a new aluminum platform, which will also serve as the basis for the next supercar, replacing the GTC4 Lusso. It is expected that the price of such an SUV, which will likely become the brand's most sought-after model, will be around 300 thousand euros.
