The length of the Audi e-tron is 4902 millimeters, width — 1938 millimeters, height — 1664 millimeters. In terms of its dimensions, the electric SUV sits between the Q5 and Q7. The interior of the new model accommodates up to five passengers, with a trunk volume of 600 liters.

The design of the e-tron is executed in the style of other crossovers of the brand. Among the features: an octagonal radiator grille with active shutters, daytime running lights resembling charging indicators, inserts in the lower part of the doors indicating the location of the battery pack, as well as rear lights symbolizing a full battery charge.

The total output of two asynchronous electric motors (one on each axle) is 360 horsepower and 561 Nm of torque. In overboost mode, which allows an eight-second power increase — 408 horsepower and 660 Nm of torque. When driving at medium speed, to save energy, only the motor located on the rear axle operates.

The claimed acceleration time to 60 miles per hour (96 kilometers per hour) is 5.5 seconds. The maximum speed is 200 kilometers per hour. The range according to the WLTP cycle is 400 kilometers. The battery with a capacity of 95 kilowatt-hours is charged from a basic charging device with a power of 11 kilowatts in 8.5 hours, from a 150-kilowatt charging station — in 30 minutes up to 80 percent.

The Audi e-tron is equipped with a four-level electronic stability control system and a driving mode selection system with seven profiles of the control electronics. The air suspension of the crossover can adjust the body height within 76 millimeters: in offroad mode it rises first by 35, then by another 15 millimeters, and when driving at speeds above 120 kilometers per hour it lowers by 26 millimeters.

Control of the main functions of the electric vehicle is carried out through two displays of the MMI system with a diagonal of 10.1 and 8.6 inches. The upper one is responsible for setting up navigation, onboard systems of the crossover, infotainment system, the lower one — climate control. The MMI system integrates the Alexa voice assistant, support for LTE Advanced and Wi-Fi communication standards is present. The Audi navigation system can build a route based on previous trips, as well as taking into account the location of charging stations.

The list of e-tron equipment includes adaptive cruise control, which works in traffic jams and on the highway, and is also able to adapt to the average speed of movement and reduce it when approaching turns, a parking assistant, and a rear movement assistance system.

Deliveries of the Audi e-tron to the first customers will begin in the middle of next year. The price of the crossover in the USA will be at least 74,800 dollars. In Europe, the electric vehicle can be purchased already at the end of the current year at a price from 79,900 euros.
