The new BMW X3 M and X4 M are still showing off in camouflage wrap, but some things can already be discerned: aerodynamic mirrors on the sides, bumpers with large air intakes, alloy wheels with blue brake calipers, and four exhaust tips.

Under the hood of the crossovers, a fresh inline six-cylinder with turbocharging and a displacement of three liters will appear. The engine power is expected to be 450 horsepower, and with the optional Competition Package, it will already be 475 horsepower. All-wheel drive will be borrowed from the new M5, but it will be adapted specifically for the crossover platform.

It is not yet reported when exactly the production X3 M and X4 M of the next generation will be shown. According to rumors, the premiere may take place before the end of 2018, and they will go on sale next year.
