Tesla is preparing the premiere of a new model
Tesla Motors will present a new "unexpected" electric car at the Grand Basel exhibition in Basel, Switzerland.
Presumably, the stand will showcase the new-generation electric supercar Roadster (pictured), whose first prototype debuted in November 2017. However, it is not yet known whether a production-ready version will be demonstrated in Basel or whether the US manufacturer will bring an improved version of the concept.
The conceptual Tesla Roadster is made in a coupe body, while the original model existed exclusively as a roadster. The prototype is equipped with three electric motors, allowing acceleration from standstill to 100 km/h in less than a couple of seconds. Previously, it was expected that the production version of the electric car would be released no earlier than 2020.
