The pickup is equipped with a two-liter four-cylinder diesel unit with two turbochargers, developing 213 hp and 500 Nm of torque. The engine works with a new 10-speed automatic transmission.

Ford Ranger Raptor received a reinforced chassis from Ford Performance made of high-strength steel, designed for high-speed off-road driving. Fox Racing shock absorbers were installed at the front, and a spring-hydraulic suspension with integrated Watt links was used at the rear. In addition, engineers used two-piston brake mechanisms, as well as BF Goodrich off-road tires.

Ford Ranger Raptor has an adaptation system for specific road conditions with six operating modes: normal, sport, gravel, mud, as well as a mode for driving over rocks and the Baja racing mode.

The car is equipped with the SYNC 3 infotainment system with navigation, voice control, and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto interfaces.
